The Sudan Studies Research Conference originated from the Durham University Sudan and Egyptology Study Group (DUSESG).
Since its inception, it has been organised through a collaborative effort involving academic staff, postgraduate students, and early career researchers.
This year, we have chosen to hold the conference ONLINE due to the ongoing situation in Sudan and the widespread displacement of many individuals.
